Hotel Renmark is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the continued growth and evolution of the historic 126-year-old Hotel.
Salary Package negotiable – up to $145,000 p.a. (inclusive of Super/benefits)
Are you currently working in accounting or finance, have a desire to be a part of a dynamic team, looking for growth opportunities and perhaps a change of scenery? This is a unique opportunity to work in the newly renovated, historical Hotel Renmark in the "Riverland SA". $3 million in capital improvements was completed in 2019-2022 with ongoing upgrades to take place in the short-term future. The business is in a very sound financial position with low debt to equity. Hotel Renmark boasts an annual turnover of $14 million with continued growth expected.
The successful applicant will play an integral role in supporting the Board and Management to ensure the Hotel’s financial security into the future.
Responsibilities
Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop accurate revenue forecasts and budgets based on historical data, market trends, and business projections. Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
Accounts: Overseeing accounts payable, receivables and payroll.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our General Manager & other line Managers to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives. Provide strategic guidance and support to drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction.
Strong Interpersonal Skills: Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocate sound financial/business decision making; demonstrate honesty/integrity and lead by example.
You will have strong finance knowledge and the ability to share your knowledge with the Directors and Management team to ensure they are empowered and able to act and adhere to all business and finance objectives.
Financial Manager Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting/finance highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role (Accounting/Banking/Finance), within a fast-paced and high growth organization.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management systems and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
Strong competency in Microsoft Excel & other accounting software

Full time position 38 hours per week
